Each Planning, Inc. seminar is specifically tailored to the participants, both in content and presentation style. Our approach is to educate, stimulate and provoke self-examination so the presentations are relevant to the individuals attending. Our speakers personally prepare the materials that accompany their presentation. We do not use generic material and do not try to make one size fit all.
Learning objectives are stated at the beginning of the seminar and prior to each session. We use a mix of training techniques, including lectures, extensive use of audio-visual aids, case studies, where appropriate, and class participation through the use of questionnaires and dialog. All participants’ questions are addressed as they are asked during the course of the seminar.

Planning, Inc. only engages senior federal benefits counselors who have extensive experience in this field to perform counseling services. The counselors stay current with rules and regulations regarding Federal benefits, constantly monitor legislative efforts in the area of Human Resources, access OPM’s and the Social Security Administrations knowledge banks and web sites and have access to a variety of other HR sources as well.
Leadership Development Training and Succession Planning
Planning, Inc. has the qualifications and experience to assist Government agencies to meet their goals to educate, develop and train their current and future leaders. Our core strengths include executive education, supervisory and pre-supervisory training, coaching services, succession planning, workforce assessments and curriculum development. As leadership training involves a well-planned development program, we believe that related educational courses should be adjusted to the particular environment and needs of the organization for which the courses are being delivered. We recommend an upfront analytical component in order to adjust our basic courses for the organization. Once the plan of action is approved by the agency, we assign a Project Manager who ensures that all members of the “team” fully understand the details of the task and has all resources necessary to complete the task. Task progress and accomplishments are reported through a pre-designated process and adjustments made if required. Excellent cooperation between the “partners” in this endeavor will ensure flawless execution and deliver the expected results.
